The 124 unit
« on: October 31, 2011, 10:44:03 PM »
Im looking to go hunt the late hunt in Mount Spokane.  Just wondering if anyone had any good information about the area i.etype of terrain, amount of deer in the area, feeding and movement habits. stuff like that. never hunted the unit before but would like to give it a try and see a new piece of ground.

thanks

There was a similar post on here recently. Basically 99% private land.  Inland empire paper land gets hammered during modern. Lots of deer but plan on hunting for private access or buying an iep pass

Whites Outdoors in Spokane. Google "Inland Empire Paper Company Hunting", click the first result. It will provide all the info you need. I'm headed up for my first late hunt up there as well. Good luck.

people always say the land gets pounded..it doesnt and hardly anything ever gets pounded a half mile from the rig...gets pretty old seeing the post of "hunters everywhere"...I just took a drive up to Canada during the rifle season..I know of big pieces of DNR and state land that are off highways! and nobody hunting them, but yet people say there is no where to hunt. :bash:
